Sailor To-rasu 2014 10 20 Concept Sketch

I'm resting home after a very long weekend... this is my beginning sketches of Sailor To-rasu (Taurus) for the Constellation-Senshi group. Hehe. I'm just so excited to have gotten Taurus for myself! I've been so wanting to do my own zodiac as a senshi... 

So, yes she has a nose ring... yes, she has a huge ass hammer (one attack is to cause a 'stampede' of sorts)... yes, in her senshi form she will have large horns and a tail... but no, her feet are not hooved. Her armored boots will resemble bull/cow hooves. Her fuku will be made of leather and armor (so bad at designing armor), but I'm debating on putting her brooch/locket on her chest plate or as her belt buckle. Hmm?

Her civilian nationality will be Spanish, home to the "Running of the Bulls"... I plan on making her extremely elegant and beautiful, despite her extreme bullish strength and build. Thinking of naming her Carna (as in 'Carnation' which is a common flower in Spanish history, dance and other festivities).

I do not know Spanish, nor am I Spanish (I'm Italian/Sicilian) so I do hope to due this character justice.
