Nekk, Lady of the House

Oh, my... can I be in love with my own art? Can I? For once be totally inlove with a piece I did?! This took me way too long. I had to practice and refine my Sai on the new computer. I think I'm satisfied.

...and gold is a pain in the butt to color. Geeze!

This is my beautiful, graceful, loving, anthro deity character... her 'race' was of a feline-phoenix blood, having stemmed from immortals where only the most deserving are granted an unimaginable power. Nekk, herself, acts with great respect and etiquette. Besides the constant halo of light that circles her head she gives off no signs of being as powerful as she is. She is extremely humble and giving. Only on very rare occasions has she shown her immense power, and was always in effort to protect her extended family... but has never used her true, or full, power. She believes in taking the gentler, least violent way in solving problems.

She has a very lengthy story... 

Nekk was born mortal, as are all those of her race, but was granted her ancestral power when she died by fire... and as phoenixes due, she was reborn from the ashes.
