Centaurian Breed: Cencornians

Meaning this breed and its specifics. I can not stop anyone from creating their own centaur, but its is grealy appreciated that all rights to my Cencornians are reserved. I may not be the most popular, well known, or talented artist...but I deserve respect just as much as any other.

Unicorn Centaurs

NOTE: If you should create a Cencornian of your own, please note me with the name you will be using...like * showkaizer's Cilessians, =Michelle84's Pheerai, =frozenlilacs's Gymmarrianites, and *BlackLotusPro's Mixers...I would like to keep a list of created Centaurians. BTW: *showkaizer did give me permission to create my breeds. Its been a long time coming idea from before I saw the Cilessians, back in 94 when I originally created Mixtari...and since that day I saw the Cilessians I've been itching infectiously with the urge to just put my breeds forth. So here they are.

Please follow all the guidelines when creating your own Cencornian character, otherwise they won't be true Cencornians!



Physical Characteristics

The Horn and Eyes:
The horn is never of any kind of metallic base such as gold and silver. The horn is of a pearlized ivory. meaning, a white horn with a shimmer of color. This shimmer can be of any color. This shimmer of the horn is the always same color as the Cencornian’s eyes. The eyes may shimmer as well, but can not be white like the horn with a colored shimmer. [hopefully I'll have an example soon, until then use my Mixtari's eyes and horn as an example [link] ] Also, the horn can either be a smooth curve or twisted corn. The horn is usually the same size as distance between shoulder and wrist, NO LONGER, and there is only ONE horn.

Human Torso Skin and Horse Body Fur Coloring:
The human torso can only be of a natural skin tone, ranging from the palest Caucasian to the darkest tan. While the horse body fur coloring is preferred to be of a natural horse breed, it can be of any color imaginable...though I draw the limit at rainbows.

Ears:
The breed can be born with either elfish pointy ears, placed were a human's ear would normally be...or fur covered horse ears, places near the top of their heads. If born with horse-like ears, the fur color always matches that of the horse body.

Hooves and Legs
The second unique trait of the Cencornian, besides the horn, is the front pair of hooves...they are always made of gold. Not silver, or any other metallic...just gold. While the rear pair of hooves are always of a normal grey/black. Unlike horse hooves, the breed has kept the unicorn's known split toed hoof. On both male and females, the rear legs are lined from knee join to hoof with hair on the back of the leg. While the female's front legs are smooth, all four of the male's hooves are covered with long hair. The hair on the leg and hooves are the same color as the horse's body fur.

Hair and Tail
The hair coloring can be of any color imaginable, as well as any length and style. Keep in mind the hair and tail are always the same color. You can not make blonde head hair, and a brown tail...it must be blonde and blonde, or brown and brown, or purple and purple. Now, while the female's take great pride in their long, luxurious, silky tail hair...males keep their tails cut very short. Anything from a small tuff, to partway down their rear.

Lifespan: For the females it is up to 5000, but for the males it is a mere 3000. Due to the duties each sex is tradionally given [explains more below] The 'Elders' have a much longer lifespan, and seeing as none have died from natural causes it is yet known how long. The 'Elders' are able to live a longer life due to the fact that they are the first of the breed, and still hold a great deal of the unicorn enchantments in their blood [as unicorns are eternal creatures] Unfortunately, that is where the enchantment ends...all children of the 'Elders' are subjected to the typical lifespans listed above.

Duties/Lifestyle: Females are born natural healers. Their specific lot in life is to be the healers, teachers, caretakers, bakers, and of course mothers. Tradionally, the females of the Centaurians breeds are not given or allowed to take up any kind of hard manual labor. While the males are born natural protectors. Their specific duties are farmers, hunters, carpenter, blacksmiths and of course warriors. From birth, both male and female Centaurians are to attend school [very similar to our society] until they reach a human's equivalent to high school. Once in their 'teens' they begin their training, or apprenticeship. Each specialize in one life long task, or job.

Magical Abilities: As females are born natural healers, that is their most powerful magical ability they will ever have. Though each will also possess one 'special' power as well, and being as they are not the protectors of their species it is never of anything dangerous. Things such as having the ability to conjure up wind gusts, bringing upon rain showers, ability to enhance plant growth, sleep enduing vocals, and the like. Males, on the other hand, being born natural protectors are all born with the power to produce small, to large magical shields. Along with this, each possess a second trait that aids them if they should need to battle. Be it the ability to produce flames, unnaturally stealth speed, immense strength, the ability to call forth lighting, and the like. Males will also learn to use some sort of weapon, be is sword, staff, bow-n-arrow, or axe.

When they use their powers, their pearlized horn emits a glow...and they can only have two magical abilities, which INCLUDES their born ability. So you can only choose one 'special' ability.

Naming your Cencornian
Remember to Note me of the name you will be using so I can add it to the list. Lets try not to duplicate them.

- The name must Japanese [ use this English to Japanese translator to help you [link] ] or from a Japanese word
- It must be related to the 'special' magical trait of your character -or- the character’s personality

For Example: Bii'Fuu [originally simply 'bifuu'] which means 'gentle breeze' in Japanese - or - Hyudene [originally 'hyouden'] which means 'field of eternal snow' in Japanese. I know I've horribly butchered the Japanese language by doing this, but its to make the breed more unique.

I will only accept a handful more. I will not give a number of how many there are in total, but only 1 per person. I know I have two, but I created the breed, damn it. XP
